Beech Resources was formed in 2016 by John M. Fox and Charles W. Pollard whom combined  have over 80 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. Mr. Fox founded a privately held family company in 1992 as an oil and gas exploration and development company with operated properties in Texas, Colorado, Kansas, New Mexico and Wyoming. Mr. Pollard joined the Fox family company in 2009 and was instrumental in adding significant asset value prior to the sale of the company in 2013. Over the 22-year history of the Fox family company, several of the management team and employees have been recognized by the industry for their contribution to successful oil and gas exploration and field development, as well as for operating excellence in our focus areas. Most notable industry recognition is that Mr. Fox was inducted into the Rocky Mountain Oil and Gas Hall of Fame in 2009, not only for his industry contributions through his upstream companies, but also for his contributions as founder and President of MarkWest Energy Partners which is a midstream company that he managed from its inception in 1988 until his retirement in 2009.

 

With the formation of Beech Resources, our corporate office in Denver was opened in August 2016 followed by the opening of our district office in Williamsport, Pennsylvania in September 2016. Land leasing has been ongoing since company inception, and we were able to acquire our first well in the area, the Douglas C. Kinley A-6H, in the summer of 2017. This well was originally drilled by Anadarko Petroleum and tested for 3.2 MMCFPD. With the acquisition of this technical well we embarked on an active leasing program, acquired and interpreted 3D seismic and initiated our present day well development program.

 

Our company vision is to be the operator of choice through environmentally friendly and cost- effective development of natural gas resources that so abundantly exist in Lycoming County. Beech Resources has successfully assembled an outstanding team of industry professionals with years of experience in nonconventional resource plays, including the Marcellus shale. Our history is that when we go into an area, we commit 100% through the employment of talented industry professionals committed to earning a reputation for fair and equitable treatment of our project stakeholders including landowners, local employees, contractors, service providers, regulators and shareholders.

 

Our management team has over 130 years of industry operating experience and we intend to utilize our operating knowledge and expertise to benefit all stakeholders.
